Let Us Learn To Live In Peace

Living harmoniously with ourselves, with others and with the universe is the way to live in peace. The simplest way to attain peace is to treat others as we would like them to treat us. No other community has offered such varied benefits to their members to enjoy peace and prosperity as we have. We are indeed blessed to be born in this great community.

Every religion is founded on the precept that we reduce selfishness and serve others. Whether it is orthodoxy or reformist, as long as it cultivates tolerance, generosity and love, it is religion. Religion shouldn’t cause conflicts or creates enmity. Today we witness a tussle between the traditionalists and reformists – perhaps this is a dawn of awakening in the community. As people get increasingly enlightened, they question the validity of baseless and irrational dogmas in the name of religion. The power imposed through threatening behavior and punishment to control others, always ends in hostility. Though the good human spirit of peace, freedom and democracy faces many hurdles, it is nevertheless a fact that humanity is striving for the victory of democracy. Our community members residing in foreign countries have left their baggage of dogmas behind and moved on to live peacefully, practicing the religion of love, with generosity and tolerance. If they can live peacefully practicing the same religion, why we can’t we?

Immaterial of who you are, what you did, where you’ve come from, whether you’re orthodox or liberal minded, let’s commit to becoming a better version of ourselves. When the Power of Love overcomes the Love of Power, then the world and the communities and all religions will know peace.

Join The Creed

Always help someone in his dire need.
Perhaps, a hungry one, you can feed.
Remember, kind words can prevent a heart-bleed.
This way, join one can, the KINDNESS Creed.
Yield most people easily, to power and greed.
To duties moral, they do not pay any heed.
Drawing attention, they want to be a racing-steed.
Or at the center be, attracting a crowd, to men lead.
But happiness true comes, by helping a person in need.
Sets this up, a chain-reaction; so sow the seed.
Of ego, jealousy, and greed, remove the weed.
Definitely, change you will See; certainly indeed.
