India’s Gritty Performance Clinches 2nd Test Match: India played like champs and clinched victory by 75 runs to win the Second Test match against Australia. Batting first India were out for 189 in 71.2 overs. KL Rahul top scored with 90. The visitors put up 276 in their 122.4 overs. India’s second innings amounted to 274 with Rahul contributing a handy 51. The turning point was the great partnership between Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane who scored great knocks of 92 and 52 respectively, winning it for India. KL Rahul won Man of the Match as India level series 1-1.

Parkophene Cricketers Sail Into Semis: Stellar performances from Akhil Rajput (92) and Badre Alam (5-20) helped Parkophene Cricketers win their quarter finals by a massive 95 runs V/s Karnatak Sporting Association (KSA) in the Young Comrade Shield Cricket Tournament. They now face Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in the semis.

Premier League Results: On 4th March Leicester City beat Hull City 3-1, Stoke City overpowered Middlesbrough 2-0 and Swansea City defeated Burnley 3-2. Further, Southampton won 4-3 V/s Watford, Crystal Palace won 2-0 against rivals West Bromwich Albion and Liverpool emerged victorious 3-1 V/s Arsenal. Next day, Tottenham Hotspur won 3-2 with Everton while Manchester City played well to beat rivals Sunderland 2-0. On 6th March Chelsea were too good on the given day as they won 2-1 V/s West Ham United.

Indian Women’s Hockey Team Beats Belarus: The Indian Women’s Hockey Team continued their winning streak clinching their third successive win, 3-1, against Belarus. Rani struck goals in the 35th and 39th minute, while Deepika scored India’s third goal in the five test series.
