Ex-CM of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar felicitating Zubin Amaria

Zubin Amaria has been recently elected as a ‘Member of Executive Council’ of Maharashtra Olympic Association (MOA) for a period of 4 years. A prestigious assignment in the sports world, MOA is perceived as the supreme governing sports body for all forty-five recognised Olympic Games, in Maharashtra. This declaration was made by President MOA and Ex-CM of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar, on 25th March, 2017, at the Special Annual General Election Meeting of MOA in Pune. Representing the Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association as the Hon. General Secretary, Zubin was selected from among forty-five affiliated State Sports Associations. A Trustee of Solapur Anjuman, an active Rotarian and a past District Governor of Rotary International District 3132, Zubin has been awarded the highest Rotary International Service Award, ‘Service Above Self’ in the year 2011-12 by Rotary International and also the Citation of ‘Meritorious Service’ by The Rotary Foundation of the Rotary International in the year 2014-15.
