NK Dhabhar Cancer Foundation (NKDCF) inaugurated its new venture ‘OnCare’ that aims to provide wellness and palliative care to cancer patients, at Masina Hospital on 5th October 2017. The event commenced with a jasan ceremony and a humbandagi performed by four mobeds of Anjuman Atash Behram, followed by an interactive talk by Trustees Dr Pouruchisti Dhabhar and Villie Daruwalla. Trustee Dr. Jeyhan Dhabhar welcomed the audience and gave and a brief history of NKDCF, followed by Trustee Dr Khurshid Mistry elaborating on the new venture stating that the main objective of ‘OnCare’ is to improve the lives of people living with cancer by providing a positive and happy healing center, under the supervision of compassionate medically trained professionals, including counselors. Guests of Honour and Trustees of Masina Hospital, Burjorji Antia and Homi Katgara, Medical Director of Masina Hospital, Dr. Vispi Jokhi, Kekoo Colah and Senior Medical Oncologist, Dr. Boman Dhabhar proceeded to light the lamp and unveil the OnCare Hoarding. Attended by several cancer NGOs and specialists, the event concluded with a vote of thanks.
