In keeping with the festive season, the Happy Home and School for the Blind (HHSB) presents ‘Inner Vision – Exhibition and Sale’ from 8th to 10th December, 2017. Hosted at their very own haven on Dr. Annie Besant Road, Worli, Mumbai – 18, the annual exhibition offers exquisite handicraft items such as woodwork, mosaic, handloom items, cards, gifts, as well as pottery and ceramic items, carefully designed and crafted by the school’s visually impaired children, along with the help of a dedicated team of
volunteers.

The Happy Home and School for the Blind was established in 1925 with five blind street waifs.  From a modest beginning in the BDD Chawls, it is now the only high school for the visually impaired in Maharashtra, building a future for two hundred visually impaired children.  The annual event is extremely popular and provides great encouragement to children who prove that, with the right stimuli and training, these differently abled souls manifest their ‘Inner Vision’.
