Ratan Tata Conferred Doctorate By Zoroastrian College, Launches ‘Chaitanya’ By PT Columnist, Dr. Jasmi Doshi Sarvaiya

On 2nd June, 2018, the Zoroastrian College, under the aegis of the All India Shah Behram Baug Society (for Scientific and Education Research, an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC) – conducted a grand convocation and Awards ceremony at the Russian Center for Sciences and Culture, in Mumbai, where the doyen of our community, Ratan Tata, was conferred a Doctorate Degree in Literature (Honoris Causa).

Ratan Tata was felicitated by Dame Dr. Prof. Meher Master Moos, the President of Zoroastrian College, alongside HE Andrey Zhiltsov – Consul-General of Russian Federation in Mumbai; and HE Ahmed Sadeghi – Consul General of Iran, in the presence of a distinguished galaxy of persons including Dr. Dara Rupa, Padmashri Dr. Vijay Kumar Shah, Dr. Mrs. Chanra Krishnamurthy, Dr. Davish Jain, Dr. Manmath Patni, Dr. Rumi Behramji, Dr. Rohit Ganatra, Hon. Bieib Director Iran Culture House, Dr. RN Sukhla, Dr. N Umrikar and others.

The program also included the release of the book, ‘Chaitanya’, authored by popular Parsi Times columnist and tarot expert, Dr. Jasmi Doshi Sarvaiya whose pioneering work in Tarot has been honoured with her very first book entering the prestigious ‘Golden Book of World Records’ Certificate of Excellence for “authoring the first emblem Tarot book.”
