With this defeat Messi and his side Argentina are very well in danger and are left stunned with what could be an exit from the tournament. Ante Rebic took full advantage of the opposition goal keepers error and shot the first goal for his side during the 53rd minute, while Luka Modric doubled the lead in the 80th minute to put his team ahead with 2-0. Ivan Rakitic added the third goal, smashing the ball into the bottom left during the (90+1) minute.

Roger Federer Shines At Halle: Swiss tennis star Roger Federer began his last week of pre-Wimbledon competition as he defeated Slovenia’s Aljaz Bedene 6-3, 6-4 and thus advanced to the second round of the ATP Halle grass event.

England Wins 3rd ODI V/s Aus: Exceptional batting from Alex Hales (147), Jonny Bairstow (139) and skipper Eoin Morgan (67) helped England win their third ODI by a massive 242 runs and take a lead of 3-0 V/s Australia. Batting first, the British scored 481-6 in 50 overs. The Aussies were unable to pick wickets at regular intervals. Only Jhye Richardson snapped 3-92 in his 10 overs. Australia were bundled out for 239 in 37 overs as none of the batsmen were able to score big runs except Travis Head who contributed 51. Amongst the England bowlers, Adil Rashid picked four wickets while Moeen Ali grabbed three. Alex Hales was ‘Man of the Match’.
