Royals Beat The Kings By 1 Run
Spectators in Mohali witnessed an enthralling contest between Punjab and Bangalore. Winning the toss Punjab elected to field first. The Royals put up a fighting total of 175 runs on the board as AB de Villiers fired 64 runs in 35 deliveries. In reply, Kings X1 Punjab got off to a good start as skipper Murali Vijay led from the front scoring a mammoth 89 runs. In the end it turned out to be a roller coaster finish as Bangalore emerged victorious by 1 run.

Sunrisers Beat Pune In Yet Another Close Contest
In a smart move after winning the toss, Hyderabad put Pune in to field. They did well to restrict Sunrisers to a paltry score of 137 runs as Adam Zampa bowled exceptionally well and picked up 6/19 in his spell. Pune tried their best till the very end but were denied a win. Hyderabad won the contest by 4 runs.

Mumbai Outplay Bangalore At The Chinnaswamy Stadium
Mumbai have a great chance of qualifying for the play-offs while RCB are literally playing knockouts now. Bangalore managed 151 runs in their 20 overs. Mumbai were too good on the given day with the ball and bat and finally won the contest by 6 wickets.

Premier League Results
7th May saw Manchester United beat Norwich City 1-0. Aston Villa and Newcastle played out a draw 0-0. AFC Bournemouth and West Bromwich Albion too drew their game 1-1. Crystal Palace won their encounter 2-1 against Stoke City, while Sunderland defeated Chelsea 3-2. Swansea City stunned their opponents West Ham United by a 4-1 victory and Leicester City outplayed Everton 3-1. Three exciting games were played on 8th May, Southampton won 2-1 against Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool played well and won 2-0 against Watford while Manchester City and Arsenal were involved in a draw 2-2. On 10th May West Ham United won 3-2 playing Vs Manchester United.

Sheffield Sharks beat Leicester Riders 84-77 in the BBL play-offs final for the first time in 12 seasons at the O2 Arena in London.

Great Britain Beat The Indian Women’s Hockey Team
The Indian Women’s Hockey Team were not up to the mark on the main day and suffered yet another loss as they were defeated 0-7 by Great Britain in the final game of the five-match series.
