India Clinch Series Against Zimbabwe
The Indian team was on a winning spree winning their previous two encounters and the third one turning into dead rubber. Winning the toss, Zimbabwe elected to bat first. They put up a mere 123 runs in 42.2 overs. In reply, the Indians scored 126 runs in just 21.5 overs, as the openers KL Rahul scored a 63 runs while Faiz Fazal notched up 55 runs. India won by 10 wickets and whitewashed Zimbabwe 3-0 to win the series.

Euro 2016 Results

In the opening clash on 10th June, France beat Romania 2-1. 11th June saw Switzerland defeat Albania 1-0, while Wales won 2-1 playing against Slovakia. On the other hand, England drew 1-1 with Russia. On 12th June, Poland won 1-0 V/s Northern Ireland while Germany clinched a 2-0 victory against Ukraine and Croatia won 1-0 against Turkey. Further, Spain outplayed Czech Republic 1-0, Republic of Ireland and Sweden had a draw 1-1, and Italy beat Belgium 2-0 on 13th June. Next, Hungary won 2-0 playing V/s Austria while Portugal and Iceland drew 1-1 on 14th June. Romania and Switzerland played out a draw 1-1, France played exceptionally beating Albania 2-0 and the Slovakians defeated the Russians 2-1.

Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal defeated Chinese player Sun Yu 11-21, 21-14, 21-19 in an exciting encounter, going on to win the Australian Open Super Series – Women’s Title, at The Sydney Sports Centre.
