WZCC With HPY

World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce (WZCC) was again proud to join hands with Holiday Program for Youth (HPY) to conduct a workshop for about 180 youngsters on Monday, 16 May 2016 at J.B. Vatcha High School for Parsi Girls, Dadar.

The young participants were introduced to Mumbai Chapter Chairman, Adi Siganporia, who stated that Industry and Commerce were the building blocks of a nation’s economic growth. Maher Dhamodiwala, Committee Member-WZCC, and a successful entrepreneur, then introduced the young participants to the world of finance and encouraged the youngsters to start investing at an early age, under their parents’ guidance.

Murad Currawalla, a committee member and a successful entrepreneur, conducted the ‘Trade Game’ where the participants were divided into four teams – Achievers, Creators, Enactors and Performers – and each team was asked to make, name and sell finished products. This proved immensely exciting and fun, in addition to enriching, for the participants. The teams were judged by Adi Siganporia and Aspi Antia on the basis of leadership, team spirit and marketing skills. ‘Enactors’ won the game and the team members were given winning souvenirs.

WZCC appreciated the efforts of Diana Marfatia, Mentor, HPY for untiringly inspiring the youth in growing towards excellence and success. The WZCC Rotating Trophy will be presented to the winning team at the Valedictory Function to be held on Sunday, 29 May 2016 at JB Vatcha High School.
