Activity High School held its 6th Inter-House Fashion Show on Saturday, July 30, 2016 with over two hundred and sixty students from four Houses walking the ramp with enthusiasm and fervor. The ‘Fashion Show’ commenced with students being grouped into three categories – Sub-Juniors, Juniors and Seniors, and competing in various categories. The judges for the event were Pia Grace (face of Avon cosmetics) and Polish model, Maya who has done shows for innumerable designers in Poland. Nehru house won the ‘Best House’, while Tagore House was adjudged ‘Runners Up’. Tata House clinched the sub-title in the Juniors’ Group, while Curie House was awarded ‘Judges Special Prize’ for their performance on ‘Characters From Books Coming Alive’. The show was conceptualized and mentored by Sam Bagli, acclaimed photographer.

For me, it was a first time tryst with judging and I was  in total admiration for the great in-house talent that the school has in its students; a complete  Powerhouse.  It  was  difficult to   judge  who  was  the  BEST  as  all  were neck-to-neck in their performances. Thank you, Mrs Bagli.

Kudos to the Principal,  Perin Bagli and her team of dedicated teachers, who had put in tremendous efforts to put this show together.  Not forgetting the enormous help and support of the parents to their children.  Mrs. Bagli added “I have always believed in giving every child a platform to demonstrate their ability and talent and that is the main aim of organizing such an event annually”.
