Recently, twenty one boys and girls were initiated into Zoroastrianism by performing their Navjote ceremony in Kerman city of Iran. A large gathering of Zoroastrians were present at the Atash-Kadeh hall to witness the occasion and bless the young initiates. The event was special, as the ceremonies of Navjote were performed by lady Mobeds also. This is a landmark moment among the Zoroastrians of Iran and the lady Mobeds are adept at all religious ceremonies as required. We applaud the Zoroastrian Priest community of Kerman for their undying efforts in keeping our ‘Holy Fire’ alive.
