India Start Off Their Series On A Winning Note
The Anil Kumble-Virat Kohli partnership has started on a positive note as India were on the top of their game against what looked like a rather weak West Indies side. During their 2nd innings the hosts were still unable to put up runs and were all out for 231 runs. Ashwin found his rhythm perfectly and scalped 7/83 and grabbed the ‘Man of the Match’ award. With a complete team effort the Indians won by an innings and 92 runs. With this they registered their biggest win margin outside Asia. India are now 1-0 in the four match series.

England Thrash Pakistan To Level Series
England won the toss and elected to bat first. They declared at 589/8 while on the other hand Pakistan did not respond with a big score as they were all out for 198 runs.
