roundupNew Zealand Level Series With India: After India sealed the 3rd ODI with a win against the Kiwis, they were in no way going to give away the series to India easily. Winning the toss New Zealand elected to bat first during the 4th ODI at Ranchi. They posted a huge total of 260/7 due to the great effort of Martin Guptill (72 runs). In reply, the hosts managed to score 241 runs in their 50 overs. As a result New Zealand won the game by 19 runs and levelled the series at 2-2. With this, India lost an ODI for the first time at Ranchi. All eyes are now set on the final ODI.
Iqbal Abdullah Helps Kerala Pick 3 Important Points In Ranji Clash: Iqbal Abdullah shined with the bat for Kerala as he notched up an unbeaten 159 which included 6 sixes and 14 fours to help his side grab 3 important points in the clash against Hyderabad as they took the first innings lead. He thus won the ‘Man of the Match’ for his scintillating performance.

Parsee Gymkhana Wins Against D.Y. Patil Sports Academy At The Police Invitation Shield Cricket Tournament: Skipper Raunaq Sharma led from the front as team Parsee Gymkhana (PG) outplayed rivals D.Y. Patil Sports Academy. Winning the toss team PG elected to field first. D.Y. Patil Sports Academy notched up 144 in 38.2 overs. For team PG Manish Rao scalped 3/29, Sagar Udeshi picked up 3/47 while Raunaq Sharma grabbed 2/6 in his spell. The solid team that they are, Parsee Gymkhana made 146/5 in 40.1 overs with star player Raunaq Sharma scoring 63*. He thus was the ‘Man of the Match’ for his all-round performance. Team PG won their contest by 5 wickets.

FOOTBALL
Indian Super League Results: On 22nd October Atletico de Kolkata beat Delhi Dynamos FC 1-0 while the next day both sides, FC Pune City and Chennaiyin FC were involved in a draw 1-1. Kerala Blasters FC outplayed rivals FC Goa with a 2-1 victory on 24th October. 25th October saw Mumbai City FC defeat Atletico de Kolkata 1-0. While on the following day Delhi Dynamos FC and FC Pune City drew their encounter with a 1-1.

HOCKEY
India Seal A Semi-Final Spot In The Asian Champions Trophy: Rupinder Pal Singh scored a brace to give India a 2-1 win against Malaysia in the 4th Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament. India now has 13 points as they have topped the round robin league stage. India will now face South Korea in the semi- finals.

KABADDI
India Defeat Iran To Win Kabaddi World Cup 2016: India claimed yet another title as Ajay Thakur helped team India win 38-29 against Iran in the most important final clash of the tournament. At half-time India were trailing 13-18 as the Iranians were on top of their game with some massive defence techniques. The second half Indians fought back brilliantly, to bring home the world cup. Ajay Thakur was the star in this contest and further the Indian team spirit was commendable.
