Brainiaxed!

‘BRAINIAX’ was held on November 13th 2016 at the J. B. Vachha School, Dadar, organised by XYZ and ZOSTA. With over 200 children from 8 XYZ groups as well as various schools of the city participating, Brainiax was a competition that not only challenged children’s mind to think harder and faster but also brought out the creativity and spontaneity in them. The kids competed under three age groups, namely Under 10, 13 and 17 at Mental Maths (Mathemagix), GK Quiz (Smartex), Sudoku (GridX), Science Fair (Scientifix) and Xcellerate. Some unique, practical and innovative business plans that the participants came up with were ‘food truck’, ‘Parsi dairy farm franchisee’, ‘dog day care centre’ and a ‘ladies protection handbag’. More than forty parents volunteered to ensure that all 250 kids were tested to their umpteen potential, while the judges were enthralled with the talent, creativity and confidence displayed.

The winners were the girls of Ketayun’s Conquerors (Avabai Petit School) who were awarded the winning trophy along with XYZ goodies. Winners received certificates and gift vouchers, while all the 250 participants received XYZ stationary pouches, which were also donated to underprivileged children too. The event was sponsored by The WZO Trust Funds and PPS Financial Services; Prize Sponsors were Kidzania and Crossword; and Equipment Partner – Easy Leasy. Kudos to the Principal and Management of the J. B. Vachha School, Dadar for allowing free usage of their venue for this event.
