Get New Year Ready With Arshis Javeri

When someone says New Year’s Party, it can’t get any better than Goa. Considering Parsi Times couldn’t take us to Goa for the makeover, they brought Goa to us in the studio! Cherizeh Ghadiali has been brought up in Goa and went on to train as a hairstylist in London. When we met Cherizeh for the first time, we knew this makeover was going to be crazy fun with lots of creativity and inspiration. Considering it was time to dress and tress an already established stylist, it was time to pull the big guns out.

I started with giving her a beautiful glow using an Ultra Candesent Primer for the radiating energy on her face. After foundation and a little colour correction, I layered her skin with an HD loose powder. It was time to contour and highlight with a warm pearly liquid highlighter powder to give her cheeks, nose and chin a dewy uplift.  We finished with a soft pinky-bronze blush, keeping in mind her Goa glow. Moving on to the eyes, I chose to go deep black smoky with her eyes and topped it with a sparkling black pigment. With some drama lashes and on intensifying her water line her eyes stood out making a bold beautiful statement. Breaking all norms of avoiding deep lip shades when you wear dark shadow on the eyes, I layered her lips with some plumper, followed by a deep English Cherry Tint, for an all-night listing effect. The final look was taking shape and the excitement was rising.

Neelam from Makeover Salon, Bandra gave face to my vision whilst side-sweeping Cherizeh’s hair and giving soft beach waves all over and dramatic twist waves in the front. ‘Alpa And Reena’ sent us a stunning gown from their Fashion Week Collection. The black silk taffeta was encrusted with white and pink Swarovski crystals along the neck and the back was stunningly low. This was an absolute head turner look with Cherizeh already setting the benchmark for the new year!

As Cherizeh dances her way into 2017, I wish all PT makeover fans and readers a Happy New Year! May the year be as beautiful and colorful as the shades in my shadow palate. See you soon in 2017!
