Animal welfare organisation, World For All (WFA) successfully conducted the successful adoption of 74 stray dogs and cats at their sixth annual Adoptathon held on 26th and 27th November 2016, at Bandra’s St. Theresa’s School grounds.
The event was patronized by animal lovers, activists and celebrities who supported the cause for animals, including Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Saif Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, Sooraj Pancholi, Farah Khan and her three children, Amyra Dastur, Farzana Contractor, Poonam Mahajan, Ashwin Mushran, Karan Mehra and Nisha Raval. Soha and Kunal shared the exciting news of ‘Finally Home’ – the WFA shelter for old and disabled animals which will be coming up next year and encouraged people to support and donate for the cause. Farah Khan emphasised on the need of today’s youth being more involved and compassionate to become better leaders for the future. WFA also unveiled a revised range of merchandise.
The adoption panel at the camp comprised certified vets, trainers and behaviourists. Animal parents could also shop from amongst the leading brands of pet food and accessories.
