People’s Co-op Credit Society Supports Education

The People’s Mutually Aided Co-op. Credit Society Ltd., was established on 29th January 2001 by retired officials of Bank of India with an aim to help senior citizens receive reasonable interest on their deposits. Keeping in view its social obligations, the society earmarks 1% of its profits towards a ‘common good fund’ for payment to deserving organizations. On 18th December, On the occasion of B.R.J.C. Parsi High School’s (Hyderabad) Annual day, Khushroo F. Toorkey, Chairman, presented a cheque of Rs. 70,865/- towards scholarship to six deserving students of the school, while another a cheque of Rs. 5,000/- was presented towards welfare of teachers. Ashish S. Chenoy, Secretary of the school, thanked the Society for their support since past several years. Kerfegar B. Antia, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, gave away prizes to the winners of various competitions held in connection with the annual day.
