England Win 1st T20 In Kanpur: An all-round good effort by England helped them win the contest by 7 wickets against India. India managed 147-7 with Dhoni scoring 36 and Moeen Ali getting 2-21 in 4 overs. England started their innings with Skipper Eoin Morgan scoring 38 and Joe Root, 46, achieving their target comfortably in 18.1 overs. Moeen Ali was declared Man of the Match.

ROI Clinch Irani Cup 2017: Wriddhiman Saha (203) and skipper Cheteshwar Pujara (116) helped Rest of India (ROI) win the Irani Cup, beating Ranji Champions Gujarat by 6 wickets at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium. Batting first, Gujarat notched up 358 in 102.5 overs, a knock of 169 from Chirag Gandhi. ROI were out for 226 in 75 overs as Chintan Gaja grabbed 4 wickets. During their second innings Gujarat posted 246 in 90.3 overs. Shahbaz Nadeem scalped 4 wickets and Siddharth Kaul got 3. Kaul picked a tally of 8 wickets in this contest. Though ROI were reduced to 63-4, the Saha-Pujara pair added a 316 run stand to clinch the cup. Wriddhiman Saha was awarded Man of the Match.

Suryakumar Yadav And Raunaq Sharma Steer Parsee Gym To Victory: Parsee Gym (PG) were on top of their game as they beat Sind Sports Club by 72 runs in the Padmakar Talim Shield Cricket Tournament. Terrific efforts from skipper Raunaq Sharma (85), Suryakumar Yadav (74) and Akash Iyer (35) helped PG post 323-7 on the board in 44 overs. Sind Sports Club were bundled out for 251 in 39.5 overs.
