RIP Cricketing Legend Soli Mavalwala

90-year-old legendary Parsi cricketer, Soli R Mavalwala, passed away on 22nd February, 2017 in Vancouver, Canada. A left-arm slow bowler and left-handed batsman from Karachi, Soli made his first-class debut in the Sindh V/s Mumbai Ranji Trophy in 1947-48. In November 1948, he played against West Indies scoring 48 not out, which helped Sind save the game. His final first-class match was the inaugural match of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, where Soli claimed 3
for 57.
