Mahim Causeway: The Mahim Causeway was built between 1841 and 1846 to connect the then islands of Salsette and Mahim, with a donation from Lady Jeejeebhoy of Rs. 1,57,000/-. Today it is the vital link connecting South Mumbai with northern suburbs.

 

 

Bandstand Promenade: A 1.2km long walkway along the Arabian sea on Bandra West, the Bandstand Promenade ends at ‘Land’s End’, where the Bandra Fort (built in the 16th century by the Portuguese), an amphitheatre, a garden and a park, converge. It comprises the ‘Walk of the Stars’ – a 2 km stretch housing Bollywood stars. The promenade is managed by the Bandra Bandstand Residents’ Trust (BBRT).
