Know Your Bombay

Mani Bhavan: Located at Gamdevi, South Mumbai, Mani Bhavan is a two-storey building, which served as Gandhiji’s Bombay head-quarters for seventeen long and eventful years (1917-1934). Owned by Revashankar Jagjeevan Jhaveri, Gandhi’s friend and host during that period, the building attracts tourists globally view the room Gandhiji occupied; the Picture Gallery, Library Hall and the terrace where he was arrested on 4th January, 1932.

Sahara Cricket Gaurav Point: Located in Andheri, Sahara Cricket Gaurav Point is Mumbai’s first cricket gallery housing memorabilia of prominent cricketers/ cricketing events including the historic Indian World Cup wins in 1983, 2007 (T20) and 2011. Established in January 2012 by Sunil Gavaskar, it displays autographed bats, balls, gloves, stumps, cricketing kits, caps and exclusive photographs at the museum. It also holds Sachin Tendulkar’s wax statue and 2011’s World Cup winning trophy.
