The all-ladies club of Lions Club of Bombay (Queensway) – District 3231-A1, commenced the ‘October Service Week’ with need-based projects and activities. Totaling to Rs.6,88,000/-, the projects include donation of a HESS screen (worth Rs. 81,000/-) to KEM hospital for Neuro Ophthalmological check-up on 5th October, 2017. Another project included the ‘Mythic 18 Blood Cell Counter’ (worth Rs. 4,00,000/-) donated to the Parents Association Thalassaemic Unit Trust, Thane to check for Anaemia and detect Thalassaemia traits. Another, Rs. 1,00,000/- was donated to Masina Hospital during the laying of Foundation Stone for the Cancer Department.
