Aanchal Thakur Makes India Proud: 21 year old Indian Aanchal Thakur created history by winning the first ever international bronze medal in the Alpine Ejder 3200 Cup organised by the Federation International Ski Race (FIS) in Turkey.

Rizvi Clinch Giles Shield At Wankhede Stadium:  Spectacular batting by Mohit Tanwar (127) and Tejas Chalke (100), coupled with great bowling by Umar Khan (4-84) helped Rizvi Springfield (Bandra) win on better quotient against Don Bosco (Matunga) at Wankhede Stadium. Batting first, Rizvi declared their first innings on 495-8 in 135.2 overs. For the Matunga team Chris D’Britto grabbed 3-90 in 34 over spell. In reply, Bosco finished with 331-9 in 124 overs with Sahil Jadhav as the hero with an unbeaten 150.

Bhambri, Ramanathan Advance In Australian Open Qualifiers: India’s Yuki Bhambri beat Canada’s Bradely Schuner 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 while Ramkumar Ramanathan beat USA’s Bradley Klahn 6-7 (8), 7-6 (3), 6-2 at the Australian Open qualifiers.
