The Bharucha Baug Residents Welfare Association (BBRWA) celebrated Jamshedi Navroze for the third consecutive year on 20th March, 2018, with a Khushali-nu-Jasan and Humbandagi, followed by the inauguration of the elaborate ‘Meiz-e-Murad’ (wishing table). Attended by Chief Guest and recipient of President’s Police Medal for meritorious services, Police Inspector Cyrus Boman Irani, BPP Trustees, Kersi Randeria and Viraf Mehta, CEO of WAPIZ, Anahita Yazdi Desai, and ZTFI Chairperson, Yasmin Mistry, the event proceeded with an entertainment gala program performed by budding artists of Bharucha Baug, Cama Park and Panthaki Baug, and choreographed by Sarosh Dolasha, Karishma Dolasha, Kainaz Wadia and Areesh Irani. The event which was conceptualized by Donesh Irani, recognized the contributions and efforts of BBRWA committee member, Adi Shroff, who helped enhance Bharucha Baug’s environment. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by BBRWA Convenor, Bahadur Avari to all supporters and sponsors of the event, especially the 1994 batch of St. Xaviers (Vile Parle) for contributing so generously towards this noble event, followed by community dinner catered by Tanaz Godiwalla.
