On the occasion of World Theatre Day on 27^th March, 2018, ‘The Vichaar Dhatupatr Sangralaya And Vishala Group’ in Ahmedabad felicitated legendary theatre personality, Dinyar Contractor for his outstanding performance in theatre for over fifty-five years. Honoured in front of a huge gathering in A’bad, Contractor was recognised for his magnificent contribution to Hindi cinema as well as Gujarati and English theatre. Speaking to Parsi Times, Dinyar Contractor said, “I’m elated on receiving this award. I feel privileged to have such a large section of the audience as well as varied organisations recognising my work during the last sector of my career – for this I’m very grateful. The response and the adulation that I received in Ahmedabad was so overwhelming, that I was left choked with emotions!”
