11-year-old, Er. Cyrus Xerxes Dastur was ordained Navar on 20th May, 2016, at the Vatchagandhy Agiary on Hughes Road. Coming from a family of priests, Cyrus’ Navar ceremony was
performed by Er. Asphandiar Dadachanji and Er. Khushroo Kanga. Speaking to Parsi Times, Cyrus – a student of Std. VI of Greenlawns High School said, “This was a great journey! It helped me understand my religion better and imbibed in me the importance of being ordained as
an Ervad.”
