Over the past couple of weeks, one of the most popular messages, termed ‘NINE QUESTIONS ASKED’, has gone extremely viral across all social media platforms, and continues to be rampantly shared even on emails now across the Community – locally, nationally and even globally! Addressed to Ex-BPP Chairman, Dinshaw Mehta, ‘NINE QUESTIONS ASKED’ has been written by BPP Trustee Kersi Randeria in response to Dinshaw Mehta’s alleged relentless onslaught of false accusations and twisted truths which are used as diversionary tactics to keep the community misinformed about various issues, which are now catching up to him.
Seeing right through the unnecessary drama triggered frequently via an allegedly ‘fake’ supplement (which is actually a paid advertisement under the guise of a ‘news’ item, and unlike distribution of newspapers via conventional news-vendors, it is distributed only in Parsi colonies by ‘chokra boys’ paid to do the same) in one of the nation’s oldest newspapers, Kersi Randeria has directed a list of nine, very pin-pointed questions at Dinshaw Mehta, seeking answers. Apparently, these ‘nine pins’, which have been earlier asked across different forums at different points in time, are bound to prick and puncture a lot of untruths and manipulations, which is probably why, so far, no answers have been received by the otherwise over-active social media machinery employed by Mehta. Even though these ‘nine pins’ may or may not get any answers from Mehta, the questions attempt, and to a large extent, seem to have succeeded in un-pulling the wool over the Community’s eyes that has been allegedly woven by Mehta.

1.Did the four Trustees – Minoo Shroff, Dinshaw Tamboly, Maneck Engineer and Burjor Antia – resign after recording serious allegations against you?

As anticipated, Dinshaw Rusi Mehta has not answered a single question.
Mr. Mehta should and must gracefully fade away (as all the past trustees have done) and let this Board, including his own son Viraf, work!
Let the community decide…
Mehta’s Board gave only 75 free houses to poor and middle-class families in 7 years, i.e. less than 11 houses per year…
They sold 55 houses to their rich and influential friends in 7 years – averaging: 8 houses per year Net Yearly Average = 3 free houses per year (of which, 11 Free and 8 Sold)
This Current Board, in 2 years and 9 months, have allotted over 140 free houses – AN AVERAGE OF 51 FREE HOUSES A YEAR!
… and therein lies our commitment to the community…
Please let us work, Mr. Mehta, and we promise you that we will submit our report card to the community in 2022, at the end of our term.
