Arpita Borhade, a student of Std IV of the Bai RFD Panday Girls’ High School grabbed a gold at the ‘3 Star Mumbai City District Table Tennis Tournament 2018’, held at the University Sports Pavilion from 1st to 3rd September, 2018. Playing in the ‘Girls Midgets Group’ Ankita defeated her opponents in five different rounds before being declared winner. Having represented her school at various competitions held in Nashik and Pune previously, Arpita aspires to be a National player and hope to represent her country at the Asian and World Games. Speaking to Parsi Times about Arpita’s success, Principal of Bai RFD Panday Girls’ High School, Hutoxi Mistry said, “We congratulate little Arpita for her achievement and wish her great success in all her future ventures. We at Panday motivate and support students who work toward distinction and encourage them to do well in their chosen field.”
