At the recently held ‘Mayor’s Breakfast of Compassion’, California, USA, on 27th September, 2018, hosted by the city of Laguna Niguel Interfaith Council that witnessed world religious leaders, the Zoroastrian faith was represented by Er. Zarrir Bhandara. Attended by over two hundred local people, with US Senator for California, Pat Bates; Mayor, Elaine Gennawey and four other mayors of neighbouring cities, the program commenced with a welcoming speech by the Pastor, Monsignor John Urell. Bob DeCarlo reiterated the Pledge of Allegiance, Mayor Elaine Glenawey and US Senator Pat Bates cited different examples on how to apply compassion and faith in charting and executing different humane policies. The program concluded with Bob DeCarlo’s rendition of ‘Let there be Peace on Earth’, with the audience.
