PT: Tell us a little about yourself.
Khushnuma: I started off as a 16-year-old writer with Parsi Times and have gained experience as a copywriter and content specialist with many organisations including Ogilvy & Mather, The Hindu and ‘ItsHerWay’ – an international start-up. I realized the scope of starting my own business, and decided to become a ‘Digital Marketing’ entrepreneur. I help all brands – Corporates or individuals, to achieve their full business potential across various digital platforms by providing my expertise as a Content Specialist and Digital Marketing Consultant.
PT: What motivated you to pursue a career in this field?
Khushnuma: My experiences provided me insights into the limitless potential that digital media holds – in terms of both – Brand Communications and driving sales. I effectively employed my digital know-how and zest and infused my copywriting skills, to create Impactful Digital Strategies for clients. One of my USPs I bring to the table includes being appraised about the latest trends and technologies, and implementing the same to accomplish my clients’ targets.
PT: How do you help clients as a Digital Marketing Consultant?
Khushnuma: As a digital marketing professional, I ensure that my clients’ brands have a distinctive online presence, which helps them drive sales through great, meaningful content. I believe social media is a cost- effective solution, especially for small businesses looking to generate awareness and eventually, sales. I provide my clients the option of bringing in my own team of designers and website developers to help maximise their digital potential. Alternately, I also work with in-house talent and become part of the client’s team for the project. My services include Social Media Marketing, E-mail Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Pay-Per-Click Advertisements and Content Creation.
PT: How does this help an individual?
Khushnuma: In today’s age, individuals who run small businesses can easily leverage the great reach and cost effective adverting that social media has to offer. Not only that, people are spending more time than ever on their devices, so it’s easy for brands to start a dialogue with their right target audiences through social media. Any brand that wants to adapt and grow in this new digital age needs to have a great digital presence and social media strategy for success – and that is exactly where I come in!
PT: What are you future plans?
Khushnuma: I see myself evolving into a better version of myself and try to continue learning. I plan to adapt my trajectory to changing trends and situations.
