ICC Women’s World T20 – Windies Women Beat SA Women: Splendid bowling from West Indies skipper and player of the match Stafanie Taylor (4-12) helped her side beat South Africa Women by 31 runs during their T20 encounter at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, St Lucia. Put into bat first, the Windies women scored 107-7 in 20 overs as wicket keeper Kycia Wright top scored with a 36 off 32. The Proteas bowled well to curb their opposition’s runs. Amongst the bowlers Shabnim Ismail scalped (3-12) while Dane van Niekerk picked up another two key wickets. South Africa didn’t get off to the best of starts losing quick wickets and succumbed to the pressure, being all out for 76 in 18.4 overs.
