The 9th edition of Tata Literature Live! The Mumbai LitFest organised from 15th to 18th November, 2018, at the National Centre of the Performing Arts (NCPA), witnessed the Tata Group launch three independently written books on the group’s struggles and success, marking the occasion of its 150th Anniversary. The books – ‘The Tata Group: From Torchbearers To Trailblazers’ authored by Dr. Shashank Shah; ‘Titan: Inside India’s Most Successful Consumer Brand’ authored by Vinay Kamath and ‘The Tata Saga’, an anthology of the best writings about the Tata Group – highlight numerous insights and case studies on the success and challenges faced by the Group over the years.
The book launch was followed by a panel discussion, ‘Tata@150: A Vision for a Nation’ chaired by journalist, Govindraj Ethiraj and conducted between Tata Sons Brand Custodian, Harish Bhat; acclaimed business-market strategist, Rama Bijapurkar; Vinay Kamath and Dr. Shashank Shah.
