PV Sindhu Beats Tai Tzu Ying: Olympic silver medallist PV Sindhu won against World No. 1 – Tai Tzu Ying at the BWF World Tour Finals – 14-21, 21-16, 21-18 during a Group A match.

India Wins First Test Match Against Australia: An outstanding century from Man of the Match Cheteshwar Pujara during the first innings (123) coupled with a gritty 71 during the India’s second innings helped the visitors notch up their first victory of the Test series winning by 31 runs at Oval, Adelaide. During their first innings, India scored 250 in 88 overs. While chasing down the total Aussies faltered and were bundled out for 235 in 98.4 overs. Amongst the Indian bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Ashwin grabbed three wickets each while Ishant Sharma and Shami snapped up two wickets each. The visitors in their second innings accumulated 307 in 106.5 overs. During the fourth innings, Australia were all out for 291 in 119.5 overs. With this win Virat Kohli became the first Indian captain to win a Test in South Africa, England and Australia. Further, this particular Indian team has achieved a feat that no other Indian team has prior as they won the first Test of a series.

India Out Of Hockey World Cup 2018: India’s 43 year long wait to reach the semi-final of a Hockey World cup crashed as they were beaten by Netherlands 2-1 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar. Akashdeep put India ahead in the 12th minute with a reverse flick but Netherlands’ Thierry hit an equaliser and Van Der Weerden hit the second. The Dutch will face Australia in the semi-finals on 15th December.
