Chef Viraf Presents ‘Modern Parsi’ Menu At SBOW

Soda Bottle Opener Wala, the Community’s favorite Bombay-Irani Café and Bar turns five this year and we are celebrating ‘Soda Turns 5’ over a series of activities and events where Chef Viraf Patel presents the Modern Parsi Menu at SBOW’s High Street Phoenix outlet.

Known for its Parsi specialities, SodaBottleOpenerWala is all set to embark on a new journey along with Chef Viraf, who would be Exploring finer ways to represent Parsi cuisine using of European techniques and ingredients, Chef Viraf has curated a tantalising menu to elevate the uber delicious Parsi cuisine, including dishes on the Small to Medium plates like Chicken Farcha Bites with lemon aioli and chilli coriander pesto; Kuku-e-Subz Florentine (a dill and scallion muffin, with poached egg, hollandaise and pomegranate); Jardaloo and Pulled Lamb Taco with crunchy homemade salli; Truffle Papeta (sliced and infused with truffles and olive oil served with a buttered and toasted brioche bun) and lots more. The Medium to Large plates include Beluga Lentil and Vegetable Stew, Khichidi ‘Risotto’ (with options like Mushroom no Patio or Kolmi no Patio), Seared Salmon with saas, saffron rice and kachumber; and Lamb Shank with Lentils with brown rice and kachumber. Enticing Desserts include ‘First Milk’ Panna Cotta with Panchgani mulberries and Parsi Sev with baked yoghurt, Iranian pomegranate molasses, dried fruit and berries.
