PT: Tell us about the Fund Raiser and the causes you support.
Feroze: Lions International is one of the world’s largest NGOs, donating millions of USD towards projects globally. LCB is part of its Indian chapter, in our 42nd year of existence, dedicated to social service for the lesser privileged, providing regular aid for education, medical treatment and assisting the needy with income generating vocations. To raise funds for carrying out such projects, we hold an Annual Fund Raising event, where we seek sponsorships, donations and souvenir advertisements from our members and well-wishers. This year, we bring you ‘THAT’Z ENTERTAINMENT’ as our Fund Raiser at NCPA’s Tata Theatre on Saturday, 2 March at 7:00 pm

PT: Could you share a brief about LCB and its mission
Feroze: Lions Club of Byculla was formed in 1977 and is built on the three solid concepts of Fellowship; Service; and Able Administration.

The fuel that kept us going was our passion to make a difference in other people’s lives. It was the dream of the Founders of LCB that we should stand out from amongst hundreds of other Clubs in the district and today we have been publicly acclaimed by all District Governors as the Administrative role model of the district. 100% of all funds collected are utilized in serving the less fortunate members of society. LCB has won numerous awards over the years across four decades of Humanitarian Service; we live by the Lion’s Motto – ‘TO SERVE’
