October Fest At PPCWA

The Parsi Panchayet Complex Welfare Association (PPCWA), in association with Jiyo Parsi and Bombay Parsi Punchayet, organized ‘October Fest’ – a fun-filled entertainment eve comprising a delightful Fancy Dress Competition, on 12th October, 2019, at the Complex’s Club House Terrace, where the chirpy and cute, dynamic tots of the colony showcased their talents.

The Guest of Honour were the BPP Trustees – Kersi Randeria and Viraf Mehta; Pearl Mistry – Pan India Counsellor for JIYO Parsi; Darayus Mistry, Shanaaz Dalal – Community Health worker, JIYO Parsi. The sprightly contestants showcasing their confidence and talent decked in vibrant colorful dresses, made choosing the winners doubly difficult for the judges – Delnaz Bulsara Sharma, Mrs. Asia Universe 2018, also National Head at NBFC and a social worker; alongside presenter and producer Percy Pestonji – a Naturopathy and Financial consultant.

The winners of the Fancy Dress Competition were: Under-4 years Category – Rushad Bharucha (Traffic Signal); 5–7 Years Category – Anaesha Jilla (Moana) and Mythological Character Category – Nazneen Waghchhipawala (Durga Maa). The runners-up too received much applause for their efforts and confidence. Special recognition was given to our 2 toddler participants –Aaron Patrawala (Mickey Mouse) and Kairus Kayomerzi (Little Krishna). The eve concluded with a thank you note to the sponsors BPP and Jiyo Parsi by the Committee, as also to the participants, parents and residents who attended and encouraged the event.
