Shubham Ranjane Gets Mumbai 5th T20 Win: A dominant all round show from Shubham Ranjane (3-17) with the ball and an unbeaten 30 off 17 balls helped Mumbai win a thrilling encounter of the last ball by three wickets at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Batting first, Bengal posted 153-4 in 20 overs as openers Shreevats Goswami smashed 43 off 28 deliveries; while Vivek Singh scored 56 off 45. Along with Shubham, Dhawal Kulkarni picked a wicket. In reply, Mumbai finished victorious with Shubham’s last ball hitting a four. Jay Bista (48), Aditya Tare (37 ) and skipper Surya Kumar Yadav (22) contributed to the win. With five wins out of five matches, the Khadoos Army Mumbaikars are on top of their game in this year’s Sayed Mushtaq Ali T20 Tournament.

India Draws With Afghanistan at FIFA: India drew their encounter 1-1 against Afghanistan after an injury time goal saved them an outright defeat during the FIFA World Cup Qualifier match in Tajikistan. The Indian team remain winless in the qualifying campaign. Afghanistan gave India a shock early on as Zelfagar Nazary scored, giving his side a lead. For India, substitute Seiminlen Doungel pelted one to draw. India remained at fourth position in Group E with three points from four matches.

Srikanth Advances; Prannoy and Sindhu Knocked Out: India shuttler Kidambi Srikanth entered the quarter finals after beating opponent Sourabh Verma 21-11, 15-21, 21-19 in the Men’s Singles second round. H S Prannoy suffered a 12-21, 19-21 loss to 6th seed Indonesian Jonatan Christie during the second round. P V Sindhu also lost 18-21, 21-11, 16-21 to Busanan Ongbamrungphan of Thailand.

On 9th November Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 2-0, Burnley overpowered West Ham United winning 3-0. Newcastle United won 2-1 Vs AFC Bournemouth, Everton outplayed Southampton 2-1, Tottenham Hotspur were involved in a 1-1 draw with Sheffield United while Leicester City grabbed a 2-0 victory against Arsenal. The following day, favourites Manchester United won 3-1 with Brighton and Hove Albion and Liverpool won 3-1 with Manchester City.
