On 10th December, 2019, Pune-based humanitarian and CEO of the famous Ruby Hall Clinic, Bomi Bhote, was felicitated with the ‘Healthcare Transformation Leaders’ Award 2019’, by the Government of India, in Delhi, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. One of the community’s foremost dynamic business leaders, Bhote was recognized with the national award for creating an innovative funding medical scheme for patients, in conjunction with Bajaj Finserv.
Speaking on the occasion with Parsi Times, Bomi Bhote said, “Basically, all finance companies finance needs like like cars, scooters, housing, etc – all of which depreciate with time. Nobody really provides support for human life, which actually appreciates! I’m glad to say that this is the first such scheme which is going to instantly finance human lives for medical treatment.” Sharing his special allegiance to the community, he added, “We have always made sure that no community member ever goes untreated for want of finance at Ruby hall.”
