Batting first, the men in blue scored a mammoth 240-3 in 20 overs. Rohit and Rahul stitched an opening stand of 135 runs as the former smashed 5 sixes and the latter pelted 4. Virat them totally dominated hitting four boundaries and seven maximums. For West Indies, Cottrell, Williams and Pollard took one wicket each. In reply the Windies clan finished off with 173-8 in their 20 overs as skipper Pollard made 68. Amongst the Indian bowlers, Deepak Chahar picked (2-20), Bhuvneshwar Kumar snapped (2-41), Shami got (2-25) and Kuldeep grabbed (2-45).

India Finish On A High: India reigned supreme at the South Asian Games campaign with an outstanding medal tally count of 312, thus dominating in the multi-sport event as they finished on top in Kathmandu, Nepal. India won 174 gold medals, 93 silver and 45 bronze, over the ten-day competition.
