WFA Hosts Asia’s Largest Stray Adoption Camp

Last weekend saw World For All Animal Care and Adoptions (WFA), an animal welfare NGO founded by Taronish Balsara, hold its annual and Asia’s largest stray adoption camp – The ‘Adoptathon 2019’ in Bandra, Mumbai. With over 180 Indie pups and kittens up for adoption, the Adoptathon helped 93 strays  find their forever homes. In fact, this year, WFA had a special corner for adoption of older dogs, and some loving families opened their hearts and adopted these young adults and gave them the chance they’d missed.

As always, the event drew in huge crowds, with thousands of animal lovers, interested adopters and supporters attending the event and having a gala time with the adorable animals up for adoption. WFA saw its first adoption for this season of Adoptathon within the very first hour of the event’s opening! The visitors treated themselves to the various stalls offering animal merchandise, T-shirts, designer handbags, pet care products, services and accessories. The event witnessed attendance from animal loving celebrities including Daisy Shah, Sophie Choudhary, Priyaank Sharma, Bani J, Arhaan Khan, Farah Khan, Waluscha D’Souza, Rohan Joshi, Zoa Morani and more.
