Activity Infant School Holds Annual Athletic Meet

On 21st December, 2019, the Activity Infant School Montessori Internationale held its Annual Athletic Meet 2019-2020, with its little tots very excited to participate and imbibe and understanding of sports and healthy competition. The participants included the young tots from the Toddler Nestle Program, ranging from ages 1.2 years to 2.5 years; and those from the Pre-Elementary Years Program ranging from 2.6 years to 6 years.

The philosophy behind Activity Infant School Montessori Internationale’s Annual Athletic Meet includes building a passion for sports and inculcating a lifelong spirit of sportsmanship into the tots, which comes through motivating young athletes right from their early years.

Speaking to Parsi Times, Principal Perin Bagli said, “The Activity Infant School believes that there is much more to be gained from sports than a winning record, thus, year after year, it implements unique themes, making it enticing for children and helping them understand the value of sportsmanship, while ensuring a fun and safe experience for them. The School establishes positive parental involvement which helps develop valuable skills learned through sport such as self-esteem, motivation and social skills. These skills later facilitate the overall development of children creating self-awareness of their life skills.”
