At the seventh edition of the prestigious two-day international Phaco Festival, held in Bangaluru, across the 18^th and 19^th of January, 2020, India’s eye-prodigy and the globally celebrated Dr. Cyres Mehta was felicitated with an award for the ‘Best Scientific Video’, by Singapore’s eminent Professors – Han Bor Fam and Chee Soon Phaik. Dr. Cyres was awarded from amongst, over a thousand of the world’s top eye surgeons at the Phaco Festival’s global conclave, at a session titled, ‘Top Gun’, where only the world’s leading surgeons are invited to present their scientific innovations, in a 4-minute video clip.

The Phaco Festival is conducted by Nethradhama Super Speciality Eye Hospital, Bengaluru. Over the years, Phaco Festival has been a forum showcasing the recent and the most advanced surgical and technological developments in the field of cataract and refractive surgery. This edition comprised a 2-day conference with the theme, ‘Ophthalmic Digitalization’ and showcased the latest techniques and topics in cataract and refractive surgery with top national and international faculty sharing their valuable experiences.
