Maharashtra’s Mehernosh Bamboat, yet again, proved his prowess, by winning a gold medal in the 200m and a bronze medal in the 4×100 mts Relay, in the National Masters Athletic Championships, held in Kerala.
He had represented India in the 21st Asia Masters Athletics Championship 2019, in Malaysia, to secure the ninth position in 100mts finals, and also secured seventh position in the 100mts finals at the 20th Asia Masters Athletics Championship, held in China in 2017. Earlier he has won medals in the World Zoroastrian Games as well.
“Running is not about being better than someone else, it’s about being better than you used to be. Running frees my mind and gives me time to think and connects me to myself. It reveals the real me. I make it a routine to practice and eat clean. My biggest inspiration is Usain Bolt,” said Mehernosh, speaking with Parsi Times.
