Khurshid Mistry Bags Second Spot In Tata Mumbai Marathon 2020

Once again, veteran marathoner and sprinter, Khurshid Mistry, reigned supreme, winning the second spot in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2020, running 21 kms under her age category.

Working as Vice President with UTI Mutual Fund, Khurshid is known for her innumerable achievements in marathon running and even secured an entry in the Guinness World Records in 1915, when she won first place in the Satara Hill Marathon.

Last year in August, she won first place in the IDBI Federal Life Insurance Mumbai Half Marathon 2019 – 10kms, at at BKC, beating 18,000 participants! And a couple of months earlier in July, she won the Kanakia Monsoon Marathon 2019 – 10 kms.

Over the past couple of years, she has won over 10 half marathons; Gold Medals in 6 State-level Masters Athletic Meets and 5 National-level Masters Athletic Meets; 1 Gold Medal in the Asian Masters Athletic Meet; 5 Gold Medals at the International Meet at Brunei; 1 Gold and 2 Silver Medals at the International Meet held in Malaysia; and she has also been awarded as ‘Best Female Athlete’ at the National Corporate Championships in 2015.
