Kota’s Only Parsi Family Holds Navjote

The Anklesaria family is the only Parsi family residing along with their siblings in Kota, Rajasthan. Cavas and Pervin Anklesaria planned and held the Navjote of their grand-children – Yazad and Sidasp Anklesaria on 2nd April, 2021 (Roj Behram Mah Ava) in Kota. As they are the only Parsi family and no Parsi priest was available, they requested Er. Marazban Pavri, who gracefully agreed to travel to Kota from Mumbai, along with the other relatives of the Anklesaria family by train, braving the Covid situation, but with all mandatory precautions taken.

On 1st April, 2021, the children excitedly witnessed the Jashan ceremony at their residence; the Navjotes were conducted the next day for both children. Friends and family were explained the Navjote tarikat and importance, following which a fun get together had all the relatives singing and dancing to the Parsi anthem – Chaiya ame Zarthosti.

A special thanks was given to Er. Marazban Pavri, as also to the guests who had travelled from Mumbai to Kota to grace the Navjote ceremony.
