On 10th November, 2021, Indian Association of Secretaries And Administrative Professionals (IASAP) Mumbai HQ held its 50th Annual General Meeting, in the presence of many Life Members of IASAP, in keeping with the necessary covid precautions. A new Governing Council of IASAP was nominated with Kashmira Gamadia – All-India President (Enpak Distributors Pvt. Ltd.), Vijayalaxmi Amin – Hon. Secretary (Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.), Binaifer Daruwalla – Hon. Treasurer (Tata Services Ltd.) and GC Members – Rashna Ardeshir (Ernst & Young) and Joan Lobo.

Homage was paid to late Mrs. Homai Homi Mehta, the Founder Member of IASAP and President Emeritus, alongside other members who had passed during the previous two years. Kashmira Gamadia, All India President, shared a befitting speech. Award Badges were given to Life Members who had completed 50, 40, 25 and 15 Years of membership. Ex-President Edna Martis was honoured with a Rotating Shield and thanked for her meritorious services.

The 1600-member strong IASAP is the premiere representative Institute of Lady Secretaries and Administrative Professionals from the public and private sectors. Headquartered in Mumbai, IASAP’s chapters are present in Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, New Delhi, Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad. IASAP members actively participate in the biennial National Convention of Secretaries held in rotation by HQ & its Chapters. IASAP is also affiliated to the Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals in Asia-Pacific (ASA). The aims of IASAP include providing relevant knowledge, opportunities and resources to members in furthering their expertise; staying updated with current professional trends via seminars for skill development; recognizing members for their achievements; networking and inculcating team spirit amongst members and providing relevant sponsorships for research and literature.
