NAMC Presents Global Humbandagi Led By Er. Zarrir Bhandara

On November 14, 2021, NAMC Institute of Zoroastrian Studies presents a global HumBandagi, which will be conducted online, by the renowned and much loved and respected, Mobed Er. Zarrir Bhandara, from ZAC (Zoroastrian Association of California) Atashkadeh. He will share unique insights into how the potency of prayers multiplies when said in a communal setting. He will also speak on the significance of the Boi ceremony. He will speak on how and when prayers and Machis are offered to various grades of consecrated fires, as well as share how Mobeds tend the sacred fires 24/7 to keep them perpetually burning.

Er. Zarrir Bhandara has been felicitated by the American Red Cross for saving over 1,400 lives by donating over 480 blood, plasma and platelets contributions. A devout vegetarian and an internationally recognized 5th-degree Karate Black Belt, Er. Zarrir is the recipient of the prestigious ‘Best Student Award’ presented by the Vice-Chancellor of Bombay University for the 4 years post-graduate Advanced Priestly Training course, conducted by Athravan Educational Trust, under Dasturji Dr. Firoze M. Kotwal. Er. Zarrir has volunteered his services for the religious and spiritual needs of Zoroastrians throughout North America, has led prayers, and given lectures on Zoroastrianism, worldwide, for the past 49 years.
