A Walk Down Memory Lane At The NCPA

As we prepare to usher in the New Year, it’s time to visit Yesterday Once More – a walk down memory lane at the Experimental Theatre on 7th January, 2022 at 7.00 pm, with a group of talented artistes like Sonia Saigal (vocals), Harmeet Manseta (keys/piano), Chris Fonseca (guitar), Ryan Fernandes (bass) and Denzil Fernandes (drums), featuring songs from the Golden Age of pop music by the Carpenters, Barbra Streisand, Dionne Warwick, etc. Get ready to relive an evening of sheer nostalgia!

CITI-NCPA Aadi Anant: From Here to Eternity, on 8th January at 6.30 pm at Tata Theatre, featuring eminent Carnatic vocalist, T M Krishna, and an online NCPA-Citi Music Workshop on Understanding Intricacies of the Nadsadhana on 15th January at 11.30 am.

The Opera, Eurydice, describing the rescue of Eurydice from the underworld by Orpheus, through the power of music, will be screened on 8th January, 4.00 pm at the Godrej Dance Theatre. Stephen Sondheim’s legendary musical – Follies, featuring a cast of 37 and an orchestra of 21, will be screened on 12th January at 6.00 pm at the Godrej Dance Theatre. An illustrated talk on the topic Radha by eminent art historian Dr. B.N. Goswamy awaits you on 12th January at 5.30 pm at the Experimental Theatre.

December too brings you tidings in the form of UnErase’s Winter Line-up – poems and stories of love, friendship, romance and hope, to warm your heart on a winter evening on Saturday, 18th December at 4.00 pm at the Experimental Theatre and Ballet Screening of the Nutcracker, which tells the story of Marie and her whirlwind adventure with Tchaikovsky’s score Op. 71 delighting the ears and hearts of music lovers, on Tuesday, 28th December at 6.00 pm at the Godrej Dance Theatre.
