Behram Khodaiji, Jt. CEO, welcomed Chief Guest – Pallon Shapoorji Mistry along with senior trustee, Dr. Burjor Antia, Trustee Jimmy Parakh, Chief of Advisory Board – Dr. Gustad Daver and introduced them to the audience. The quality of dialysis has a direct effect on the quality of life and the longevity in a patient of chronic kidney disease. So, cutting costs short term doesn’t help and the patient lands up paying a higher price in terms of increase in morbidity and mortality. We endeavor to provide services at competitive pricing, and offer programs and packages to help the underprivileged, in keeping with the hospital’s mission to become the first choice for value and excellence in healthcare.”

Associated with Masina Hospital for over 40 years, Dr. Burjor Antia shared the history of the hospital, its humble beginnings and its transformation into a modern multi-specialty unit of which Dialysis is the latest addition. Trustee Jimmy Parakh Trustee shared his vision of the immediate future and was confident that the hospital would rank amongst the best in the city, in a few years. At the facility, dialysis can be provided to 14 patients at a given time. Separate provision is made to attend to Sero Positive patients, so that others are well protected from any infection. Private room facility is also available. This entire facility will now be managed directly by Masina Hospital’s qualified team specially selected for competence and quality of services. The facility is compliant with the requisite AAMI, ISO and NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospital & Healthcare Providers) norms and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including a superior Automatic Reverse Osmosis Plant, which is at the heart of any dialysis unit as the quality of dialysis is directly related to the purity of water available. As even small amounts of contaminants can be dangerous to patients, ensuring that the Dialysis RO plant is compatible with the best quality norms is crucial.

Masina Hospital is a 120 year of hospital and the oldest private hospital located in Byculla, Mumbai, providing services across all strata of society.
